Review on 🚲 VP Components VP-Vice Bike Pedals (2-Pack) by Shawn Lamp

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The VP Vice pedals are awesome! Get a pair but verify the buyer!

There are some interesting patterns that you will see as you read the reviews. Some people have their pedals shrink wrapped and scratch another pedal in transit. Some people get new pedals in the box and life is great because they got a great pedal set at a great price. And some people buy box pedals that look brand new but have swollen bearings. I am in this third group. I bought this pair from Cyclingdeal_usa, made by Revain. I was happy to see the pedals arrived brand new in a box similar to what my first Vices came in about five years ago. I'm a huge fan of these pedals and the fact that I have titanium pegs for my main bike and that they are now as ridiculously affordable as they are now makes it worth putting them on other bikes in this category. A house. I bought these for my son's bike and they look great but there is a click every time you press the left pedal. I put them on my bike, on titanium pins, and there was still a click with every impact. I replaced the bearings (I had a repair kit on hand) and the boom, the pedals were exactly as they should be and the clicking was gone. The right pedal was fine, but the left pedal clicked right out of the box, and this is the first time I've seen a pair of Vice pedals like this. I see that they are currently available through VP Components at the best price. I hope this means they come in new packaging and if there are any past issues I know VP Components will fix anything. I am rating this purchase 4* because I love the pedals, I love the VP components and I am very happy that all my bikes come with vice pedals but hate that I had to use my repair kit to to get it to work bearing in the left pedal. (Yes I know I could return them but I wanted to put them on my son's new bike and we were all excited to ride them.)
