I needed a shop apron to catch flying wood shavings. Also, I needed protection if I slipped with a knife. I know leather isn't cut resistant, but it offers much better protection than a canvas apron. I don't need many features like rings and apron pockets, but they fit tight and the pockets are big. I especially like the shoulder pads and the plastic clips on the apron straps. I am impressed with the solid construction of this apron and look forward to a long and productive relationship with this quality product.
