We have had this line for 6 months now. He is light. The hand strap is good. Good on the grass. However, the swivel bolt is of relatively poor quality at the end. Personally, I wouldn't trust him to own a very large dog. We also went to the beach where we found that the sand got into the locking mechanism and got stuck so you can't use your thumb to control the unlocking. We could not disconnect the long leash from the dog's collar to change to a shorter leash. I plan on scrapping the carabiner and replacing it with something, but haven't decided to replace it yet. I could replace it with a carabiner, but losing the swivel will likely cause the line to twist badly. If I replace the line with a heavy duty carabiner, I have to cut the line and reattach the end. By the way, the leash tends to get tangled to some degree when stored, even if you use the attached Velcro loop.
