I bought this to give my 3 month old Akita puppy a chance to play in the park and practice fetch. It worked great. I LOVE the velcro that allows me to pack the leash in and walk around as usual. I also like the soft grip, although unless I'm fully extending the leash, I usually just grab it next to the velcro to guide it normally.

This is a high quality nylon leader. It is very long and like any long line can get tangled and knotted. The grip is soft and very comfortable. I like the velcro that stays attached when not in use. We haven't put it through rigorous testing yet, but it looks like it should hold up to our 90-pound Shepherd mix. This is great for memory training and gives it extra freedom. We use this long leash to train our strong and energetic pup at the park as we don't trust him yet. Rope. We have had this line for 6 months now. He is light. The hand strap is good. Good on the grass. However, the swivel bolt is of relatively poor quality at the end. Personally, I wouldn't trust him to own a very large dog. We also went to the beach where we found that the sand got into the locking mechanism and got stuck so you can't use your thumb to control the unlocking.
