Protected my little one from burns and bites

Took this suit to French Polynesia with my 10 month old baby. She mostly crawls so I wanted her knees to be protected when playing in the rough sand. She was very comfortable in the lightweight material, although it was hot and sticky and she didn't burn herself or get bitten by mosquitoes, even after being out on the boat all day. The material did not become heavy when wet and did not cause breakouts. It has a flap at the top that covers the zip and opens fully in the leg area for easy replacement (not all brands). If only I could get her to put her hat on. UPDATE: My slim, big daughter could fit in this swimsuit until she was almost 3 years old. Of course it fits differently (above the knees) but still in great shape despite weekly swimming lessons and frequent machine washing/drying. I just bought a 24/36 month size for her (although she's already 3) because the bottom zip is super handy for quick potty rides and the one piece is better for swim lessons. It still has plenty of room, so I think she can live off a larger size for at least another year (or more).
