I've had my Xbox in my closet for 15 years and finally decided to give it a fresh start. This is the second Xbox I own and all of these things have hard drive failures. To fix this I had to change it so I could replace the faulty hard drive to fix the BIOS issues it was having. I ordered a sata adapter and a 24 inch IDE cable as suggested. The cable took a week but I was impatient so I ordered it with Prime. I've seen some reviews saying it doesn't fit, but it does fit with minimal creases. In a nutshell. Other cables came and didn't work. May be defective but they worked the first time and my Xbox is up and running again.
