I have had many different phone holders. This is the best so far. Everything I had before will fall away in time. Whether it was the heat on the suction cups accidentally hitting it or the bumps in the road, they all fell off. It all closes very mechanically smoothly and a button releases it nice and smoothly. This is held on the dashboard by ventilation slats. It stands away from the vents so it doesn't block the vents. This stays locked to your vent when you hit a bump in the road. It's pothole season in Ohio and the old one I replaced fell at least once a day. This one holds securely.
