I was looking for an alternative to the suction cup phone mount as it kept falling off while driving. I was a bit skeptical about the vent mount, but this little mount was exactly what I was looking for. It has a hook that easily grabs my car's air vent vents. For the past few days I've driven for miles with lots of potholes and speed bumps with no problems. I can also rotate the stand to position the phone horizontally or vertically. So once again very impressed.

Although not perfect, but very close. I drive an '09 Maxim. The middle slots have vertical stripes and the two outer slots have horizontal stripes. This holder sticks out a bit more than my previous one (Black Web), so the center passenger vent is my only placement option.
