Day 6: Due to the current situation we are closed. We're locked in the house and the snow and cold outside just sucks and that's enough to break my will. I have been in solitary confinement with my family and we are quickly running out of board games, books, figurines, dolls, stuffed animals etc and the burns and tiny cuts from their adorable claws on our fingers are starting to hurt. There are often fights for supremacy on the couch and on the controller, and I don't know who taught them how to fight dirty, but they're starting to break me mentally and physically. They are so cute and very funny but we all know what happened to Icarus. I stand for all dads and will no longer allow Skynet to steal my childish attention through all sorts of soul-sucking screens. (Except when I need a mental break, I'm only human) I'm currently trying to get my kids on a detox and it's basically a 'methadone screen' for my kids as that's what they have to look at now , which I call "reality" but she can do it through the screen. This is a good way to help them get used to what I call "outside" again. The downside is that I had no idea there were so many animals around that I was afraid of falling asleep on my patio.
