fully unshielded USB connector
The kit was easy to mount on the Raspberry Pi and works perfectly with the SSD I bought. However, the included USB adapter that connects the Pi USB to this board is completely unshielded and sprays EMI. My use of this device and how I discovered it means that this EMI does not affect anything for me, but it is very bad practice. Putting a protective cover on the USB port is not difficult and should be done. I'm deducting 2 stars for that: It's pretty serious and will limit the usefulness of this board for many purposes.
