Update: Cannot recommend

Updated review (a few weeks later): I purchased this adapter and the Revain Basics USB-C to Ethernet adapters on the same day for two different Ethernet lines that I installed at the same time. The anchor is so wobbly that it keeps falling out of the USB-C port. If I wiggle the cable or move my laptop, Anker shuts down and my internet connection drops. So here we are, while I hate to say anything positive about Revain, the fact remains that Revain Basics' USB-C/Ethernet adapter is better than Anker's (and cheaper). Revain Basics fits nicely into the USB-C port on my Macbook Pro - it doesn't fall out of the laptop when I pick up my PC and move it around or generally wiggle the cord like Anker does. So I contacted Anker to discuss this. They wanted me to send them this adapter which I bought from Revain and then expected to get a replacement from them within 7 days. I should have just come to Revane to do this internship. But anyway, I'll probably just replace the crappy, wobbly Anker adapter shown here with the Revain Basics adapter as it works better, costs less and I don't want to that another free anchor adapter replaces the existing one. ๐Ÿ™„Original Review: โ€ข I bought this Anker USB-C to Ethernet Adapter and the Revain Basics USB-C to Ethernet Adapter. Both work equally well and equally quickly. โ€ข Anker and Revain Basics Combo USB-C to Ethernet Adapters with Smolink CAT 8 Ethernet Cables (I love that it comes with a flat white cable with bright orange connectors.) It's just getting started #1 but so far I'm happy with all the elements in the setup and my internet much faster than Wi-Fi. I don't know why I waited so long to do this. :) Both work equally well and equally quickly. โ€ข Anker and Revain Basics Combo USB-C to Ethernet Adapters with Smolink CAT 8 Ethernet Cables (I love that it comes with a flat white cable with bright orange connectors.)
