Review on 🐠 Fritz Aquatics AFA48008 Algae Clean Out for Aquarium, 8-Ounce: Get Rid of Algae with Model 805000! by Lisa Adamczak

I have a 1000 gallon koi pond in full sun and have trouble with string algae every spring. I've used a variety of products, some not very fish friendly. This product is very gentle, the fish has never behaved differently and it has been great. But I haven't seen any real results either. It may stop the algae from growing 1 day out of 2 but then they will grow back on the 3rd day and I continue to use it every 3 days as recommended. I was hoping this would kill more algae and help clean the pond, but I think it might be more for maintenance. At least for the fish it wasn't poisonous, they liked to swim. I order water color to darken the water so the algae don't get as much sunlight. I love Fritz Aquatics products and use many of their other products. I think if I had started this earlier it might have been effective but when I got this I had a serious algae problem and was removing the algae daily.
