Bob's Red Mill Soy Protein Powder is a plant-based protein powder that contains only one ingredient: soy protein isolate. Each serving (1/4 cup) contains a whopping 16g of protein, which at first seems fantastic until you try to mix it up and taste it. This product is said to have a somewhat neutral taste, but its softness is noticeable even after mixing it with something. It outperforms any protein shake and oatmeal you try, and the mild flavor will even make you give up on what you've prepared. I've also noticed that it doesn't always blend fully into my food, and sometimes I can find more than a few globs of protein powder left over. If you can overcome the incredibly strong taste of the bland (or mind the sweetness), I think it's a good product. I think it's worth at least trying, but it's entirely up to you as I've had mixed reactions to this protein powder.
