After much research I discovered that my 2003 Escalade transfer case used Auto Trak II Blue Fluid. Yes, it's Smurf Blue. Easy to drain old fluid and easy to fill with new fluid. It took all of 20 minutes. Most of this involved parking on level ground and crawling under it to access the transfer case. After a few kilometers everything works great. If there was a noticeable change, it was the noise reduction at high speeds. It wasn't loud before, now it's quieter. Most likely because the old fluid has over 160,000 miles on it. I bought it used. I highly recommend changing the transfer case oil every 50,000 miles or so. Overall I am happy with Delco Smurf Juice.
