Review on πŸ’§ Paula's Choice CLINICAL Ceramide Enriched Firming Moisturizer: Retinol, Vitamin C for Anti-Aging & Wrinkles, 1.7 Ounce by Erica Nelson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not very moisturizing

Nothing I would buy again. I have normal to oily skin but I live in a dry climate so my skin dries out. I was hoping that the Clinical Ceramide Cream would be multitasking to provide antioxidant and ceramide PLUS hydration, but it doesn't hydrate. I used Clinical Ceramide Cream in the evening as a regular "night cream", but in the morning my skin felt tight and dry. I think the uncomfortable skin feeling could be my skin's reaction to the "firming" ingredients. In my case, I think these ingredients "tighten" or tighten my skin, making it feel dry. I've been using this for a few weeks now to see if my skin finally responds positively. Oddly enough, my skin became sensitive and the products I had been using daily for ages suddenly stung when applied. Clinical Ceramide Cream has LOTS of ingredients, so it's probably too much for my skin. I switched back from the vitamin C serum to tretinoin/retinol and then to the moisturizer.

Pros
  • Creams and moisturizers
Cons
  • Makes angry
