Review on 304 Stainless Steel Intpro Cherry Pitter Tool - Effortlessly Remove Cherry Stones And Make Delicious Cherry Juice And Cherry Coke At Home by John Arsov

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Doesn't work, hole not big enough.

I just got this in and it didn't work because the hole is too small for the pit to go through (at least the cherries I bought from Wal-Mart anyway). When I put the cherry in place and pushed down, the pit just sat in the little cradle where the hole is but couldn't fit through the hole to push it out. Plus, it didn't line up right to push the pit out anyway so I had to move the cherry a couple times. I ended up using the "sleeve" of a cooking/meat thermometer (looks like a hard plastic straw that holds the thermometer) to push the pits out. It took me 19 minutes to get the pits out of 5.5 lbs. (10 cups) of cherries using my meat thermometer sleeve. This thing is worthless since it couldn't really be used.

Pros
  • Me encanto
Cons
  • The cherry pitter can leave noticeable bruises on the fruit or even smash it completely during the pitting process, ruining your fruits' appeal and texture
