I tried to use George Bush's new crappy gas cartridges that Bush signed! These gas canisters are terrible for removing the little vent that used to be on the back of older, much better gas canisters! So much gas is poured on the ground because of these new gas bottles! But with this gas siphon, I just stick the brass (or copper end, I'm not sure what it's made of) into the gas bottle and the other clean end of the hose into the gas tank I want to fill. Then I just move the brass end up and down a few times and the gas starts to flow into the tank very quickly! It fills up very quickly and without the need to hold a heavy 5 gallon can of gasoline in the air at least 5 times longer than it takes this siphon to fill the tank! I didn't spill a drop with that gas jack either, while Bush's gas canister always spilled a lot of gas over the floor and even spilled a lot on my hands! This is a really great petrol jack!
