Almost no lint and gets dirty very quickly but not very effective. I use it as a rug in my appropriate building next to my door. looks good and seems sturdy but my building has a lot of construction dust and it's pretty useless to remove it from the soles of my shoes before they enter my apartment but it still gets dirty. Maybe the task is too big for what it was intended for, but I'm still disappointed that there's no satisfying feeling when I try to rub my shoes on it. should have gone with something thicker and maybe not synthetic.
