Review on SYLVANIA 9004 SilverStar Ultra - High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb - Brightest Downroad, Whiter Light (2 Bulbs) by Rob Allen

Updated February 2021: Well I was wrong. Sylvania was, and probably still is, a fantastic company, but this product is way below their capabilities. You know this and more. I have no idea what happened to this product but don't buy it! It's better than lightbulbs in the '90s, but those claims border on fraud in 2020. I installed new headlights on an old 1998 Dodge Ram Laramie work truck. I'm concerned about their durability judging by the reviews. The original bulbs were Sylvania halogen and required no modifications or adapters to fit. The original lamps are stamped 1997 and still work. I hope these lamps last as well as this one and that concern is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
