Very happy Headlight Bulbs

Definitely not as bright as LED but I had problems with LED bulbs in Dodge before 2005... Computer is weird... but I can run the light bar with no problems. My LED taillights have a signal resistor and it works.

Cons
  • Has quirks

A bulb burned out after 5 minutes of use.

A bulb (low beam only) burned out within 5 minutes of use. No electrical problems with the car. correctly installed (did not touch the bulb during installation). Thought Sylvania was a quality product. ugh update: they sent me a replacement bulb. Since then, both bulbs have been working perfectly (current date 05/26/21)

A bit pricey but worth it for the peace of mind of driving.

You have a good radiation pattern. However, they are in the yellow light spectrum and not in the white as promised. But in general they have a good radiation pattern and a pretty decent distance. I used them in an old car with dim headlights. You changed the situation. But if you buy them, only Silver Star Ultras, don't buy ZXE, they're not worth it. They give off the same color, and a solid blue tint with no increase in power just blocks the light. If you want blue/white light, better switch…

Good headlight, even and wide spread

I love these lamps. I had the HID conversion and initially it was great. I like the brightness, but I quickly found that I didn't like the way the light reflected off the road. These lights definitely lack that brightness, but they more than make up for it with a nice wide and even spread of light. Brightness is very important, but I find that brightness illuminates the road even more importantly. The lights on my stock 1991 Explorer are mediocre at best. When installed, these are more like…

INCLUDES 2 bulbs! No similar text says

Sounds interesting so far, I've been using these bulbs for years. Both sides are always exchanged at the same time. Today a light came on completely, driver's side was very dark. I removed and replaced the bulb but will keep an eye on it. Never had this problem on my car so I suspect it could be either carbon on the spark plug or a possible defect. Will follow and see. However, I recommend keeping the packaging and proof of purchase. I've called on the warranty before when the lightbulb…

Unfortunately this is a misunderstanding and a bad reflection of Sylvania!

Updated February 2021: Well I was wrong. Sylvania was, and probably still is, a fantastic company, but this product is way below their capabilities. You know this and more. I have no idea what happened to this product but don't buy it! It's better than lightbulbs in the '90s, but those claims border on fraud in 2020. I installed new headlights on an old 1998 Dodge Ram Laramie work truck. I'm concerned about their durability judging by the reviews. The original bulbs were Sylvania halogen and…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

One of the two I bought lasted about 9 months on my 1997 Infiniti I30. I still gave it 4 stars because it really helped me see better as I regularly ride unlit trails through the forest in total darkness. I'll admit I haven't compared them to standard brand new bulbs, so I'm not sure how much better they are. Nevertheless, I bought them again because I like the whiter color and I can see the road better. Considering the lifespan and price of around $36 per pair, that's a small price to pay for…

Getting them is a "brilliant " idea.

These headlights are MUCH brighter than the stock bulbs on every car I've dealt with. I have replaced spares on each of my machines with Silverstars and now Silverstar Ultras and have recommended them to others for their vehicles. I had a friend who said that stock headlights should be "illegal" after I replaced them with Silverstars on his Jeep Cherokee. I have been using Sylvania Line for a number of years. I find them to last a very long time although I've heard a few complaints about them…

The best of the brightest

The best of the brightest. With these lamps you can see better than with any other. At the same time, these bulbs only last a few months before burning out, while smaller bulbs can last for years. That's why I only give them 4 stars. But if you want the very best, learn how to order several and keep extra packs in your glove box. In addition, you will be stopped more often because of a broken headlight. That can also be good. If you exceed the speed limit, the police officer can let you go and…
