Review on SYLVANIA 9004 SilverStar Ultra - High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb - Brightest Downroad, Whiter Light (2 Bulbs) by Bill Lyons

I love these lamps. I had the HID conversion and initially it was great. I like the brightness, but I quickly found that I didn't like the way the light reflected off the road. These lights definitely lack that brightness, but they more than make up for it with a nice wide and even spread of light. Brightness is very important, but I find that brightness illuminates the road even more importantly. The lights on my stock 1991 Explorer are mediocre at best. When installed, these are more like most new car headlights without projectors. The addition of a harness that includes a relay to power the headlights to the right of the battery really helps make those headlights shine bright like any other car on the road. High beam is particularly good!
