Update: After a year of daily use, my dezin started smelling like burnt plastic. I noticed a burnt plastic from below (see photo). It still works but not sure if it's safe. 2 minutes until the minimum amount of water boils and another 30 seconds before the automatic shut-off is activated. 10 minutes for maximum amount before auto shut off (9.5 minutes for cooking). This is my fourth kettle and by far the slowest. But in the end he arrives. The wide opening is great for cleaning and pouring water. The easiest thing I've ever had. The lid stays up by itself (quite handy). because you can touch it while bowling. He needs graduations on the glass showing how much water is in the pan, like a measuring cup, for example: 0.5, 1, 1.5 liters.
