🔵 Dezin Electric Kettle - Bicolor LED, Keep Warm & Auto Shut-Off, 1.5L, Blue, Window-Glass Design Review

The bottom of my burner has slightly scaled up from my water (not necessarily the kettle's fault) but it's not that fun to close clean as i should leave white vinegar on it for few hours. I wish these kettles came with a ceramic plate at the bottom to prevent limescale build up. It works well though and I like the 'warm' function when I want another tea or a bag of oatmeal etc.

Neat kettle. i like lights i like the color I like the feel of glass. Although the plastic looks cheap and empty. It has a keep warm setting which I thought we would use more often but no, which was the main reason for choosing this kettle over the all glass kettle. This is a good kettle as it boils water. If I had to do it again I would go for the all glass as the plastic case on this one seems very cheap.

I've just started drinking tea. Every time I tried to make tea my habit before using the kettle on the stove. But I would never last long because I didn't want it on my stovetop all the time, but it was very difficult to get out and put away. I also didn't like that its shape made it difficult to clean and you couldn't look inside to make sure it was really clean. I love this kettle because it looks cute on my counter, is very easy to use (press a button to start and it turns off automatically)

Update: After a year of daily use, my dezin started smelling like burnt plastic. I noticed a burnt plastic from below (see photo). It still works but not sure if it's safe. 2 minutes until the minimum amount of water boils and another 30 seconds before the automatic shut-off is activated. 10 minutes for maximum amount before auto shut off (9.5 minutes for cooking). I was satisfied with this kettle after buying it in September 2020. It's cute, heats up quickly and I've spoiled it with a hand wash, never submerged it in water and descaled it at least once a month. I unplugged and kept it after each use. Whether I used tap water, a filtered fridge, spring water, or distilled water, after a few uses it left limescale behind. I was excited about this purchase, I don't know why there are so many good reviews. Unlike other kettles, installation is inconvenient. The button on the handle is an on button, not a button to open the lid like most kettles. You lift the lid manually. Constantly dripping condensate. Steam escaped from under the lid, and the proof of that is the steam burn on my hand. My last cattery never scaled, but this one did it right away. I know this happens with some types of water. I bought this for traveling but it replaces my kettle on the stove every day. We drink obscene amounts of tea and there's always a kettle on the stove ready to boil water, but the convenience, simplicity, and features of this kettle won our fondness. I love how I can turn on both functions at the same time - heat to a boil and stay warm.
