Powerful and simple solution to my problem.

Simply drill and hammer the insert into the table leg. Booked a table for the terrace. The table was too short for the base of the umbrella to fit under the table, but only 1 inch. These adjustable legs were the perfect solution. 3/8-16 t/d if interested. I added lock nuts to give constant control over the adjustment. Excellent value for money and FAST delivery.
