Edited 6/13/21 to add: After 3 months of regular use in the kitchen this range hood still meets my expectations. Whether it's a few eggs on the stovetop or a multi-course family meal, I LOVE touchless lights and fan activation to start cooking, keep airflow flowing, and remove cooking odors. (I have the same model #IKP02RI.) I agree with his fussiness and enthusiasm for the IKTCH's price, features and looks. I've looked at many other hoods as well and haven't found anything remotely close to what you get for the money at IKTCH. Appearance: Sleek and modern, this hood looks like a solid piece of metal and looks a whole lot better. than most. My photos show small streaks after removing contractor fingerprints with a stainless steel cleaner. I've never had a hood before, so I'm learning how to do it perfectly. =) Feature: Am I living in a futuristic space colony? Because gestures and the gradual turning on and off of lights are what I expect to see in a sci-fi movie. LOVE the gestures that turn on and adjust the fan speed and light. Suck: Absolutely wonderful! Removes 900 CFM odors and is non-numbing. You can easily talk while the fan is on. I had the music on when I made the video so you can listen for yourself. The timer and remote control are a bonus! Support: My IKTCH representative contacted me after the purchase and kindly answered all my questions and never stopped contacting me in all messages in a timely manner. Installation: My contractor said everything went very well.
