*(for 4" version)*>LIGHT: I am very pleased with the light output of this cube. The colors are rich and fill most of the cube volume nicely and only get dark in the lower third of the cube slightly dimmer. The "White" setting is particularly good as it is actually white (not the bluish tint of cheap LEDs). At maximum brightness the cube is definitely bright enough to light up a room (depending on color choice) ...but maybe only about on par with a small table lamp.This means it won't replace a room's central lighting or anything else.The brightness control also maintains the integrity of the selected color very well.I also have a competing RGB LED -Lamp I bought here at Revain and when the brightness changes the overall hue/color changes drastically, this cube doesn't - the colors stay the same m changing the brightness received. Also, contrary to the description, there are definitely 8 levels of brightness (not 5), which I like >CONSTRUCTION: The cube itself is very solid, but there is a slight knocking inside when the cube is moved. However, this did not lead to any significant problems. There are no rubber feet/bumpers on the bottom of the cube - it just rests right on top of the main plastic shell when installed and slides around a bit. must lie on its side when used while charging. I don't see that as a big issue as the only other design adjustment would be to place the port on the side and that would destroy the aesthetics of the entire cube. it's in hours but it's already two weeks from the first charge and i've used the cube as a night light almost every night and it's still working. I don't think it's bad.> REMOTE CONTROL: To be honest, the remote control feels a bit cheap. It's an infrared remote (like a good old TV remote) so be sure to point it at the cube so nothing gets in the way. The range/responsiveness is pretty good too. When powering up the cube, I almost always have to press the "on" button twice before it responds. I'm not sure if this is meant to overcome some sort of sleep mode to save battery.? All other settings are adjusted on the first press of the corresponding button > CONCLUSION: I would recommend this cube and see that I will eventually buy more. It does what I wanted it to do, it does what it advertises, and it does everything reliably with little to no complaints. Reliable product. PS When I first received my Cube, there was a problem and Mr. Guo's customer service responded after about an hour and offered a fully satisfactory solution, although it was determined that the problem was caused by Revain. Excellent customer service.
