I don't know exactly how many men's rugs we've gone through over the years, but it's usually 2-3 a year. The first thing that usually happens is that the color of the graphics fades and after a month or two it looks terrible. We have a dog and the second worst thing is the amount of hair that collects on it. A rain or two on the covered porch and they turn into colorless, wet hairballs. This rug retains its color after a few months, dries faster and has surprisingly little shedding compared to all others. They say it can be vacuumed too, but so far I don't see a need.
