The acetylene regulator does indeed come with the correct fit as stated in the product description. I didn't realize it myself at first and am a welding instructor. Yes, the box shows a CGA 510 Acetylene Regulator. BUT the actual product image taken before the box and the product description specifically states that the fuel gas regulator is G350-15-300, which means CGA 300 Acetylene Regulators are roughly there 4 different types: 520, 510, 300 and 200. The 510 regulator is also suitable for propane gas cylinders. So if you ordered this product and were initially disappointed like I was, you did indeed get what you ordered and I suggest 1) return it and get a CGA 510 kit if you need that. 2) Buy a separate regulator for the bottle you have. 3) If you rent an acetylene cylinder from a welding supply store, ask to exchange the cylinder for one that fits this regulator. 4) Order an adapter like Forney 87809 CGA 510 to 300 which costs about $30 or Western CGA 510 Male to CGA 300 Male which costs about $10.
