I have a Yorkie mix, a sweet sweet girl but always bugs us (and the neighbors) with excessive barking. I've had it for several years and I've regularly tried different remedies with no success. I pre-purchased a collar that would vibrate or give a mild shock as a deterrent, but this required constant surgery and ended up doing little to change their behavior. I was looking for a vibrating collar for my other dog who is older and deaf (to use off leash at the park to call him) when I spotted this collar. What attracted me was the automatic bark trigger and the possibility of restricted barking without correction. I decided to make another attempt to stifle the barking. It helped that the collar was affordable. It was wonderful! I fell in love with this dog again. At least for now she's under control even without a collar - a few occasional barks from things/people, but no lengthy episodes that require correction. She is calmer. I don't often write reviews and I haven't for so long. If you have a barker on your hands, even if it doesn't respond to alternative strategies, this is your salvation. Silence is BIG!
