baluns. Great at 25ft, crap at 100ft - who knows what's in between.
I have a lot of these baluns - first did a 25ft test and then bought a lot more to do an AV project at a bar. I use these baluns with CAT6 cable. 25 foot runs work great. If you only have 25ft runs this will be great. The fact that they include sound is a nice perk. However, 100' works with a FAIL crash. Halos at best, random dropouts at worst. I've had enough of these baluns to know I'm not just a bad opponent. I ended up switching to a different set of baluns and everything works great. Painful waste of money. To be fair, if you use the (expensive!) cable that Tripp Lite recommends, it might work better, but CAT6 should work over 100 feet.
