LOVE the Carlisle UC4031529 Collapsible 3-Shelf Stainless Steel Service Cart, 400lb Capacity!

I need a wheeled cart to make my home a little easier. After lots of research and comparison despite some not so good reviews I settled on this item - Carlisle UC 403 1529 Knockdown Stainless Steel 3 Shelf Cart 400lb Capacity. a bit fragile but when I opened the box I saw that there was no damage in transit. There was a tiny dent on the inside of the side support of one of the shelves but I don't think this will affect the overall stability of the item. Everything I needed to assemble the cart was included and I was done in less than 30 minutes. Protocol. It took my beautiful and talented assistant and I probably an hour to take that damn plastic off and in hindsight I should have ignored the instructions and removed it BEFORE I put the cart together. FABULOUS. EXCELLENT (except for a tiny dent). No stains, no signs of wear. It seems like it was made yesterday. The wheels are huge and move easily in all directions. It's also good and quiet, on both carpet and hard floors. If yours is noisy, double check that you actually tightened the screws and screwed the casters all the way into the base. What I did to make sure I got the last one sorted was screw the rollers halfway and then tighten the nut on the washer before finishing the job. I can see how not fully seated casters can add to the noise and feel of the cart shaking. The brakes are pretty hard, but they work. During a test drive, I subjected it to an impact test by charging it. Don't put something on him properly, but drop something heavy on him several times. He passed with honor. No dents and it hasn't collapsed so I'm pretty sure this thing will hold all the weight I need it to. Don't let the delicate thinness of the metal fool you, this isn't going to be a workhorse wagon. This is NOT a dismantling truck. The only way I see to shut it down is to take it apart. If this is a priority for you, you may not need this cart. I admit that I was drawn to the idea of breaking it, but I could tell from the Revane photo that this wasn't going to happen and I bought it anyway. For my specific rolling cart needs, I prefer the space-saving rugged structural integrity any day of the week. There isn't much space between the shelves and I considered using a two shelf model but I don't think such an element would have the same strength and stability as this one. It's about 6 inches longer than I'd like, but that's a small price to pay for how well I think this cart will serve me. I am happy with the purchase, I look forward to using it for many years and would recommend it to others. WHEN PURCHASING THIS TROLLEY, REMOVE THE PLASTIC BEFORE INSTALLING IT. I think it would save me a lot of time if I had a brilliant idea, do it yourself. Thanks for reading and good luck finding the perfect wagon on wheels! In the last few months I've experienced it quite seriously. and i love it. It does absolutely everything I need from carrying trays of food and drinks to carrying bulky items up to 100 pounds. Stainless steel is easy to clean and sterilize if necessary. Super great, I'm glad I bought this car!
