Review on 💡 100 Watt Replacement Bulbs for Lava Brand Grande Motion Lamp - Pack of 2 by Veronica Goodwin

They make good bulb replacements for the largest lava lamp (27 inches I think). First the whole cold lava mass floated to the surface. That was not so before. It didn't seem to bode well. I turned it off and let it cool down. At that moment, I doubted these lightbulbs would work. However, since then everything has been fine. a small interruption in the process, I would take care of it first, maybe switch it off after an hour or two the first time, but then let it run for a full 4-5 hours so that the lava flows completely. These large lava lamps have more in common with a plant or even a pet than traditional light. Cannot guarantee durability yet but this lamp worked as intended for the first 15-20 hours of use. After this little break in time I saw some reviews that mentioned LED bulbs etc - don't go there. Will not work. Heat is what works by absorbing the lava, so an old-fashioned, inefficient, hot lightbulb is needed. UPDATE: Lamp #1 lasted 7 months with regular, if not daily, use. Not surprisingly long, but satisfying. The 2nd bulb is installed and works as it should, just like the previous one. I feel like there are a lot of things that can go wrong when running a large lava lamp - too hot, too cold, etc. But these bulbs allow the lava lamp to work as intended. I will now be ordering another set as I don't see any other viable option from Revain and the 1st bulb has worked properly for a reasonable amount of time and the 2nd bulb has also worked properly so far.
