Review on πŸ“€ Sony DAVS300 DVD Home Theater Mini System (No Longer Manufactured) by Tammy Ross

Best Deal on Home Theater Systems

I was looking for a DVD/Stereo system but didn't know what to buy. I also did a lot of research on the internet. In the end, I settled on three products: the Panasonic equivalent and SAVA-900. The latter was out of my price range and Panasonic didn't have the decoding capabilities that this Sony had. Here are my points: Decoding for 5.1, DTS, etc. For "downloaded" DVDs only. The remote is a slick remote, maybe backlit, but works well. Simple function. Stereo - excellent reception and a variety of settings. The sound is great for a small apartment. Fills the room and you get detailed sounds. Good base. This puts you right in the middle of the action. Great design - takes up little space. Great price - great features, quality for the price. Overall, it plays DVDs and CDs exceptionally well and automatically decodes the movie depending on the format (5.1, DTS, etc.), but you can choose from others. I enjoyed listening to the Boston Pops' vacation in HALL mode. It sounded like I was there! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a DVD/Home Theater package for an apartment. You can't get better.
