Review on 🔧 KIPA Carburetor Mikuni HSR42 42mm for Harley Evo Evolution Twin Cam Glide Dyna Super Wide Lower Rider Disc Glide Fatboy Heritage Softail Night Train Road King by Jon Hill

I had an OEM Mikuni HSR42 but it got clogged with tank sealant (long sad story). Anyway, I still haven't been able to pump this carb properly after weeks of trying, I'm retired and have time. I suspect it has slightly different holes than the real Mikuni. I have complete sets of pilot injectors, main injectors, injector needles and even air injectors, but I could not get this carburetor to idle properly in any configuration. I asked the seller what size injectors are fitted but never got an answer. Assuming it was just a carb, I ordered a genuine Mikuni HSR42, installed it and it works great, no flushing required. You get what you pay for, but as I've proven, there's something else to this carb. Not recommended, I would suggest buying OEM Mikuni. As it is currently in use based on testing I am wondering if I can get a refund. I will see.
