As a pipe fitter I know this brand and also this special level. I got a new one the other day and found that there is excessive radial play between the case and dial. I grabbed my Curv-O-Mark centering head and removed the dial to adjust it to that level and determine if the case or dial was causing the problem. When I tried to remove the watch face from a brand new layer, the screw broke! I grabbed a nut and screwed it onto the broken end and Tig secured it. I grabbed the ratchet and tried to unscrew it and it broke again! No bueno. I won't be drilling and refining a new level when I get it back. If you buy one of these, make sure the screw comes out right after opening the box. You may need to replace the dial one day, and you probably don't want to find the screw twisted or scuffed after the return/warranty period has expired.
