Review on Work Sharp WSGSS Sharpening Sharpening by Maurice Stavros

Decorated to the Brim

From time to time there is an opportunity to purchase a product that matches the hype. I can't remember where I originally saw the ad; However, I later went online and was redirected to the manufacturer's website (worksharptools.com) where I watched the tutorial videos. I have completed my purchase on Revain.com. I purchased the Work Sharp Guided Sharpening System (GSS) and a month later I purchased the Work Sharp WSSA00033300 Upgrade Kit and my house knife upgrade is complete. The blades are now razor sharp. I would recommend purchasing an upgrade kit with the GSS and using the Extra Course diamond blade (220 grit included in this upgrade kit, with only light pressure initially). , and then move back to the Course Diamond Insert (320 grit) to sharpen the knife's edge with light pressure and make several passes to adjust the knife's edge depending on the severity of the damaged/blunt edge. Once that is done, move on to the Fine Diamond Plate (600 grit) and then the Extra Fine Diamond Plate (800 grit) found in the upgrade kit). I strongly encourage you to read, follow and understand the included instructions, as well as watch the videos on worksharptools.com and then follow my instructions as an improvement. I ALWAYS apply light pressure and do more passes when the edge needs a better finish. hone (we can more precisely say that this is the penultimate - that is - before the penultimate or step before using a leather belt). By the way, I didn't use the leather strap in the upgrade kit, because it seems a bit dangerous - in this one - you need to pull the knife towards you - in this case you "pull" the blade, not "cut" the sharpener so to speak). my finger trying to draw the blade of a knife that way. I'm looking for a glove that will protect my fingers and securely hold the blade at the optimum angle for the task. Due to the multiple passes required to set up the blade, there is a tendency for excessive concentration and muscle memory that is only maintained through practice/repetition. I know this scenario is more likely when using a knife with a smaller blade (e.g. pocket knife) which could result in injury. watch and ax screwdrivers, etc. In the past I have bought many whetstones and Arkansas ceramic stones and all of these stones did not immediately bring satisfaction and ease of use; Delivering the "maximum benefit" that GSS offers in a short "learning time". Who wants to spend hours using a ceramic or stone whetstone with dripping water? Reading some other reviews these people complain about device or upgrade kit cost or other trivial matter and so on. Typical mistakes of human existence... Use this GSS module as instructed and you will understand the nagger's nonsense. After all, customer care and satisfaction come second. nobody. Just last week I contacted your support team (thanks Heather!) for clarity on the issue and the clarity of the information provided to me and the response time has been fantastic. I was also looking for additional accessories, such as a penguin foam case (as an add-on/accessory) and a foldable leather case (very similar to the existing upgrade kit cardboard case). Quality and versatility in a small and handy package. mobile package. That is the point.
