Suitable for school in Michigan winter

My son's size 5 Nikes were getting tight (and he didn't seem to notice the sole falling off) so I ordered a size 6 instead of them to send him to the shoe store and he is very happy with it. They seem to keep his feet reasonably dry as he walks the 50 feet to the bus every morning. Buy crew neck socks because if he tries to put on short socks, the shoes will pull them off the heel and cause blisters.
