It works now that I fixed it.Many of the curved shelf pieces were manufactured with the incorrect curvature, resulting in the metal strips not being parallel at the attachment points. This resulted in the bolt holes not aligning properly and quite a few of the screws breaking when attempting to put together. The company did send replacement screws, but that took a little over a week, making several shelves unusable during the waiting period. About eight of the curved pieces needed manual bending in order to be able to put the whole thing together. Now that that's done, it's great! Would certainly recommend buying the other Enclume stand, the one that is already put together, so as to avoid this frustration. Spend the extra $30 and purchase the one already assembled & welded. Ours is both functional and beautiful, however, now that we've worked out the assembly problems.
