Nice finished product, but HORRIBLE assembly process!

Firstly, once assembled this product is really nice! But it’s getting there that warrants the 3 stars! The item arrived neatly packaged with each shelf labeled accordingly. The instructions are pretty clear, and it’s best to read through them thoroughly before commencing assembly. This is absolutely a two person job!Once all the items were laid out and accounted for, it was pretty straightforward to attach the lowest and highest shelving brackets as instructed, respectively. However, as the…

Quality control is a problem

It works now that I fixed it.Many of the curved shelf pieces were manufactured with the incorrect curvature, resulting in the metal strips not being parallel at the attachment points. This resulted in the bolt holes not aligning properly and quite a few of the screws breaking when attempting to put together. The company did send replacement screws, but that took a little over a week, making several shelves unusable during the waiting period. About eight of the curved pieces needed manual…

  • Tiered Shelf
Cons
  • The pot rack is not suitable for customers who are looking for a product that is easy to maintain

Great design but poorly manufactured

This really is a quite elegant design for a pot stand, but fails miserably in the execution. The problem is simply crummy manufacturing, which makes this tower VERY challenging to assemble. You are going to need strong hands and a seriously large pliers. The shelves are just three metal arcs with holes punched in the ends, which you bolt to the three verticals. So 24 bolts later you should be good to go. UNFORTUNATELY it would appear little or no care is taken in making the arcs. The arcs are…

Looks great! in my review

Looks great! Exactly what I wanted. We chose to assemble it ourselves. It definitely requires 2 people and patience. Some things we learned: 1) It is easier to connect the super small screws and bolts if one person holds (either the bolt or screw) in position with a hex wrench as the other person does the screwing down from the opposite side (2 hex wrenches are included). 2) We found it easier to start from the top instead of from the bottom (per directions). It was just too difficult to twist…

Pros
  • The 8-tier design of this pot rack allows you to maximize your storage space and keep your kitchen organized
Cons
  • The pot rack may block natural light from entering the kitchen

just what I needed - my new review

After a stock pot lid fell on my head while trying to get to the cast iron stock pot in back I bought this. I had seen it at Williams-Sonoma for a good deal more money - only assembled and shipping was costly. It is just what I needed. The heavy enameled pots are now looking pretty instead of being difficult to access. Thanks to Kindle Customer for the clear picture and description of the assembly and to Mrs. Sullivan for the suggestion in her review to start at the top with shelf #1. I…

Pros
  • Good quality
Cons
  • The pot rack is unassembled, making it difficult to set up for customers without experience or the right tools

Assembly Tip good for me

This can be assembled by one person, however you're experience will be a lot easier if you follow this one piece of advice:**Have pliers on hand to bend the shelf brackets into proper alignment so the bolts easily fit through the hole**There is some inconsistency in the shape/curvature of the shelf brackets. Don't fight with the entire stand trying to the get all the pieces in line. Bend the pieces so they conform to what the overall structure wants.Be careful not to strip the screws. Props to…

Eight tier Enclume pot stand.

Recieved this today, I'm very impressed, no wobbles, doesn't lean, sturdy. I'm 77 years old, put this together by myself in just over an hour. Don't let bad reviews scare you, I'm not handy at all so if I can do it anyone can. I live in a senior apartment with a tiny kitchen, this will free up a lot of storage space. I will likely use my cast iron more often now. Love love love this. Still can't believe it was that easy to put together after all the tales of woe in reviews for this pot stand…

Pros
  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • The pot rack is difficult to clean due to the intricate design and tight spacing of the tiers

I ordered the 6-Tier stand and it does the job. But I should have ordered the 8-Tier stand. Which is what I just did, so now I will have two. The 6-Tier is very sturdy, but I cannot fit my larger Le Creuset braiser on it. The picture makes it seem taller than it really is, and the top tier is pretty small in diameter. If in doubt, go for the 8-Tier stand. Thankfully, I have enough nice pieces to put on display for both stands.

Pros
  • Standing pot rack measures 16.5 inches wide by 19.5 inches long by 68 inches tall for ample cookware storage; constructed out cold riveted steel
Cons
  • The unassembled nature of the product makes it difficult to assess the quality of the construction and other parts

Very sturdy for my opinion

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for this product. This is the perfect rack for my cast-iron collection that I inherited from my grandmother. I'm able to put a couple of pans on each tier. It is VERY sturdy.

Pros
  • The Enclume brand is known for producing high-quality kitchen equipment, so you can trust that this pot rack will be a great addition to your home
Cons
  • The pot rack may be too large for some customers to handle during assembly

Fits perfectly in a small kitchen

This is beautiful and works perfectly in my kitchen. I have an enormous Le Crueset that fits perfectly on the bottom. I originally bought the 6ft. but it was too small to hold my largest pots. My only complaint was that the wood disks did not come with the 8ft. That made it quite expensive. That being said, I am thrilled with my purchase.

Pros
  • The 8 tiers of this pot rack are designed to accommodate a variety of pot and pan sizes, making it a great option for cooks of all levels
Cons
  • The pot rack may be too difficult for customers to install themselves, requiring the assistance of a professional

love love love!: my feedback

Had to have a second set of hands to assemble but I love this big boy! Freed up lots of flat space in my kitchen and I use it daily. Have recommended to others. Takes up a small footprint for so much storage. Love the quality.

Pros
  • The Hammered Steel finish is scratch-resistant, which means that your pot rack will continue to look great even with regular use
Cons
  • The pot rack may take up valuable counter space in the kitchen

Absolutely satisfied with this enclume pot rack. About 45 minutes for assembly by one person, and sturdy! Don’t wait; treat yourself today!

Pros
  • The pot rack is designed to be easy to clean, so you won't have to spend a lot of time maintaining it
Cons
  • The pot rack may not be suitable for customers with limited mobility, as it requires reaching high to access all tiers

Great stand. Hard to assemble.

Great stand. Hard to assemble. Terrible instructions. Truly terrible. Happily, I found great YouTube video that showed how to assemble.

Pros
  • The Hammered Steel finish is easy to clean and maintain, so you won't have to spend a lot of time keeping it looking great
Cons
  • The pot rack may cause pots and pans to clatter and make noise when being removed or placed on the rack

Worth It! best in my review

Didn’t want to bother with assembling and I’m glad I did. This arrived fully assembled and sturdy. It’s a great addition to our kitchen. Well worth the price for the high quality of the piece.

Pros
  • Sealed
Cons
  • The pot rack may cause the kitchen to look cluttered and unorganized

Fantastic cookware stand

This cookware stand is sturdier than I expected & fits all my cast iron skillets & even the wok! My 17 year old was able to easily put it together. I am very happy with my purchase & would highly recommend.l it to anyone who asks.

Pros
  • The unassembled design of this pot rack makes it easy to transport and store, which is great if you're moving or if you don't have a lot of storage space at home
Cons
  • The pot rack may cause damage to the ceiling if not installed correctly

It does the job. - my new review

The only issue was the way the screws work during assembly. The screw goes into a tube but they get stripped easily. We were able to find something at the hardware store to approximate the functionality, but it was non-trivial.If I had it to do all over again I would have bought it assembled. When you get it fully assembled, it appears to be WELDED together. This is a fundamentally different assembly method.

Pros
  • This pot rack is incredibly sturdy and will not wobble or tip over when you add your pots and pans
Cons
  • The pot rack may not fit pots and pans with unique or irregular shapes

Great - but pay someone to do the labor!

This was SUCH a pain to get put together by myself! But it’s just perfect and everything I wanted it to be. My own Downton style rack for that lonely wall space in the kitchen.

Pros
  • This pot rack is free-standing, which means that you don't have to mount it to your ceiling or wall, making it a great option for renters
Cons
  • The pot rack may be difficult to move around once it has been assembled

Enclume 8 Tier Cookware Stand

The 8 tier stand is absolutely stunning! I Love it! Looking for the trivets to protect the bottom of my cookware from scratches and complete the look!

Pros
  • It is easy to assemble, so you won't have to spend hours putting it together
Cons
  • The pot rack may be too heavy for some shelves or cabinets to hold when filled with pots and pans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect Home for our Staubs

Sturdy and perfectly designed for heavy cast iron. It’s is the perfect pot rack for storing and easy access to my Staub collection. Now all of the beautiful shinny colored enamel is on display. Not at all wobbly, so sturdy.

Pros
  • Storage & Organization
Cons
  • The pot rack’s design may make it look outdated or out of style when placed in a modern kitchen

Pros
