Review on 🍜 Fasta Pasta Microwave Cooker - No Stick, No Wait for Boiling - The Original, No Mess Solution by Rob Misra

Revainrating 5 out of 5

(UPDATED August 16, 2017) Great microwave paste for 1 or 2 people, quick and easy cleanup, good instructions, uses less water

. I use the microwave to steam veggies, rice and now pasta with this simple tool! Fasta Pasta makes it a lot easier to cook pasta in the microwave for one person. When I want pasta, it's quick and easy, and the drain cap means less washing. This is just the right length for supermarket spaghetti/linguini. The top has holes for measuring one or two servings (up to 4 servings can be prepared). There are lines on the side to help you get the right amount of water for 1-4 servings. Everything is designed for the microwave. The 1-page booklet includes example cook times for different pasta types and portions, and warns that you may need to make adjustments for your own microwave. In my case, I cook gluten-free pasta. There are many brands and tastes are different, so another one might be your first choice. I've made fettuccine primarily with GF rice and following the directions in the brochure it came out great. The lid is used for measuring portions and as a strainer for draining cooked pasta. DO NOT use while cooking! I didn't realize it until I read the instructions which are short, sweet and worth reading. cover, drain and serve. Easy easy! Cleaning was very easy and I recommend if you don't wash it right away fill it with water and a few drops of dish soap. When I do this cleanse after a meal, it's quick and easy. I use my hands and not the dishwasher, although it's probably on the top shelf. In summary, I didn't expect too much from Fasta Pasta and my expectations were completely exceeded. It's clear they designed with a clear idea of how it's going to be used. From water pipes, pasta portion holes, a colander or simple instructions, it's designed with the needs of microwave cooking in mind. First of all, my results were excellent and very tasty. This is 5 star performance in my kitchen cooking for one. UPDATE August 16, 2017: Last night I used my Fasta Pasta for Angel Hair GF Pasta and then mixed in some pesto after it was done. I usually only cook for myself and I'm loving this easy to use and clean pasta cooker more and more. Before Fasta Pasta, I rarely cooked pasta, but now I like to cook it several times a week. Fasta Pasta is fast, accurate (a serving size hole or two above), and easy: just the way I like it. Since I've timed my microwave my results have been consistently excellent and that's important to me. Pasta Fasta still exceeds my expectations! One thing I've found with fasta noodles is that there is very little water to pour out after cooking compared to using a pot on the stovetop. Water measurements are fairly accurate, and when they are taken, very little extra water is used. Another plus for me. TIP: I've found that throwing away the Fasta Pasta rinse aid and quickly washing the lid and base helps save time. When I left it until lunch, the leftover pasta started to stick to the plastic a lot more. It turns out that this makes cleaning Fasta Pasta even easier.
