Review on π¨ Sargent Art 17-3685 128 Ounce Washable Tempera Paint, Black, Art-Time, 1 Gallon, Multicolor by Barbara Simmons
Terrible opacity and color
This color is incredibly thin and unpredictable - with a predominantly blue hue. I've tried shaking it as much as possible and it still won't thicken/stir. However, when using this paint, especially with water, it separates even more into two different colors - pink and turquoise. NO BLACK. The Sargent Art is usually fairly reliable, but it is of very poor quality and I regret spending the money on it for my class. Attached is a painting that one of my students tried to paint with black paint.
