I'm not a professional but I'm quite experienced. I used a nailer on 3/4 red oak floors, 2" nails straight through the surface, no problem. Base and door strip made of poplar wood, no problem. Lightweight, easy to use and easy to set up. When I bought it, I saw the fold-out stud guide and thought "stupid" - wrong! Ridiculously handy when installing the socket (again, not "pro"). Further down the "non-professional" section, a few reviewers gave it low marks because of the nails. Firstly because they can't be bought locally and that would be a deal killer if I bought a few thousand a week but I don't. The other guy thought the nails were of poor design or finish. It's more of a problem, but I haven't had a problem with sticky or loose nails yet.
