It's hard to find a butter dish with a pleasant to the touch, practical lid with a suitably sized bulge. This dish is the perfect choice. Not slippery, the lid sits well in the dishes. It's just the perfect size for the size of oil we use (Kerrygold) and it's so easy to clean! Each part of the inner plate is made of wood or metal, and the oil is contained on a small, removable tray that can be pulled out for cleaning between uses. Ideal!
