Review on GIR Silicone Heat Resistant Seamless Nonstick by David Crawford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

GIR spatulas are the holy grail of spatulas.

If you cook or especially bake, you should have at least one of these. I bake a lot all year round and at Christmas I go out in public with my relatives and bake several thousand cookies, I'm not kidding. I left my GIR Spatulas at home once and was so, so disappointed because tasks that used to be easy to do with GIR Spatulas became tedious again. Here's a list of why GIRs are the best: 1. All solid - no scraps of food get stuck in that corner between traditional wooden-handled and rubber-bottomed spatulas. 2. Smooth, silky silicone. Cleans like a dream.3. Thermally safe up to 450+ degrees.4. Good, great weight. Sometimes good for beating up people in the kitchen. 5. 5. Great shape/design captures all "things" in the bowl or pan. No product wastage left.6. Bright colors so they don't get lost in a sea of kitchen utensils. I currently have 1 small, 2 narrow, 1 ultimate and 1 pro. And I want more :)

Pros
  • BUCKET WITH PRECISION EDGES – precise pouring edge won't spill; The bowl has a flexible front to scoop it into the corner of any pot or pan.
Cons
  • No automatically
