Taiyo is "really" the right way. Tired of throwing CDs/DVDs in the trash that didn't burn, I googled the best blank CD/DVD. They kept popping up on every blog and review, so I gave them a try. So far I couldn't be happier. Not a single bad one yet. You're no better off buying them online than anyone else unless you count the names. Just note that Taiyo sells them with and without mail in the middle of the stack. If you want a center post to hold them together in a stack then these are the ones you need. Buy what the description says"cake" or "cake box". I doubt I'll ever buy a Chinese made blank CD/DVD again because the quality control or maybe just the entire Chinese disc design sucks. It's just not that big of a price difference to worry about. Not just to stop throwing discs in the trash, but to have quality sound that will last longer than I'll ever live, so my kids can enjoy my music even if I die, I have no doubt it makes a lot more sense. Buy Tayo Youden's. As many already know, but I'll tell those who don't know, JVC bought Taiyo in 2008. They recently started labeling JVC on the label I've read. Some model numbers have changed, but the design and quality remain the same. I've read countless articles/blogs/reviews saying nothing has changed except the name/number. The quality of the discs remains the same. These are great CDs, so I repeat what professional engineers and DJs say about them. "Taiyo are the best discs for the money."
