Review on High-Performance Outdoor Mini PTZ Camera: Hikvision DS-2DE3304W-DE, 3MP, 4X Optical Zoom, 1080P, POE/12VDC by Christy Wade

Great camera if you have enough ambient light (street lights right where you need it or external IR lights)

The web interface is very well thought out, it was fairly easy to set up and work with Blue Iris Server, although it took a few tries to get the PTZ controls to work. The camera's web interface allows you to set specific IP addresses with access to the camera, which I have restricted to my server, my main workstation and my tablet, and also allows you to set up 32 different users with different rights to the web interface and the camera Taxes. The camera web interface also has the ability to record motion independently to a local micro SD card or NAS device if you don't want to set up Blue Iris or a dedicated DVR, but accessing the camera interface externally takes up too many ports Claim. Forwarding settings on your router from what I could tell for my comfort. The only thing that didn't work for me was that I didn't have enough light for this camera to be where I wanted to mount it. I had hoped that the low light capabilities would be good enough if the neighbors' outside lights were on, but I needed mine to be on all the time, and when someone was in the middle of the street there just wasn't enough light between the two houses, to see it easily without external IR light. right on top of them and it was a PTZ camera which wasn't the best option as I would need 2 or 3 lights to cover the area if I let the camera search for motion through the presets then pause and the motion record what was my original plan.
