This is quite a large pitcher. Good for families or entertainment. It is important to note that its size does not make it suitable for small fridges and it is very difficult to fill. Functionality: Brita works great and is easy to use. Just place it under the faucet and fill until the lid closes (you may have to do this twice when going from empty to full). When you overfill the upper tank, there is a hole next to the handle that removes excess water, and the tank is very durable. I wouldn't worry about it leaking. The filters are quick and easy to install, just like other Brita pitchers. Conclusion: works great for me. Probably not the best option for young children considering how difficult it can get. If you don't plan on topping up the Brita often and don't mind the weight/size, then this is the perfect option for you.
