This pot and pan set replaced my Calphalon set which wore out pretty quickly. I like that they can be washed in the dishwasher. You can also bake in them up to 500 degrees (350 degrees for lids), making them very versatile. My frittata turned out perfect! The finish is beautiful and classy. The instructions say you can use metal utensils with these pans, but I don't intend to, so I can't comment on how they stand up to scratches from metal spoons or forks. The handles are metal but do not get hot when used on the stove. This was a set of 11 including lids so I will be purchasing some matching items to accompany the set, love these pots and pans!
