My 20 month old cat hates brushing. When she was about 6 months old we used a rubber banana brush and created a banana version for toddlers. Her hatred of the toothbrush went so far that she cried so much I was afraid she would throw up. She was so upset that she tried to kick and twist to get away. I felt terrible and dreaded it every night. But I still had to brush her teeth! I tried to let her brush her teeth, to show her how I brush, to let her brush, but nothing helped. Problems end quickly. Imagine my total shock when we used it for the first time and my kid REALLY LOVES it?!?!?! Not only did she open up to let me brush her teeth, she picked up the pen and brushed herself, I might add, with surprising skill. A week went by and tonight she heard me mention bedtime and she ran over and ran her finger over her toothbrush. in front of her lips! I'm still in shock! I grabbed her toothbrush and she ran across the room to brush her teeth. She didn't want to stop. Absolutely amazing twist. Very pleased with the user friendly design, the bristles clean very well and the slim handle makes it easy to use in small mouths. I wet the brush and apply Tom's of Maine Toothpaste for Babies and Toddlers. Thanks to everyone who came up with this design, from a very happy baby and a total relief mom!
