I didn't use much epoxy. It scares me a little. I don't like mixing different glues together and the smell is like burnt hair, but I wanted to make my own cabinet pulls/drawer pulls for the bureau I painted. This required gluing several pieces together that could withstand significant stress and pull. I consulted with a few people on a craft website and they advised me to use Gorilla Glue Epoxy. It worked almost perfectly. Of the 12 drawers, 3 popped out on the first pull. Looking at the leftovers it turned out that I hadn't used enough epoxy. Everyone else had a significantly higher amount, so I think the epoxy failure was my attempt to stretch the already mixed epoxy. I should have just used a little more. So I re-epoxidized the last 3 and after 24 hours of curing they seem to be rock solid. It still smells and you have to use it little by little because the glue can't be saved for later use. Once the 2 parts are mixed you are done.
